Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Toyota Sienna- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Toyota Sienna and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 3 2 inch hitch receiver. Adding a hitch to the back of your Sienna is gonna allow you to do a couple different things. You can use it for bike racks or cargo carriers if you're wanting some more storage on the back of your vehicle, or you could do what this owner of this vehicle is gonna do and pull a small trailer. It's gonna have pretty impressive weight capacity, so you can pull trailers that have by using weight distribution or not. Speaking of weight capacities, the weight capacities for this hitch are going to be a max tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding the two-inch hitch receiver to the back of your Tacoma is gonna allow you to tow small trailers, put a bike rack on the back, or maybe even a cargo carrier. A lot of people think just because a truck has a bed doesn't mean that you're never gonna need any extra space, but I can tell you as a truck owner, you often run out of space for those bulkier items, like coolers or some larger luggage. So adding a cargo carrier on the back or making yourself some more room for your bikes on a bike rack is definitely gonna be a plus. Now, if you are planning on towing a trailer, it will have nice large safety chain loops here, so you can get safety chains of many different shapes and sizes. more

Now with this being a Class One trailer hitch receiver, we're gonna have an inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube, which is gonna be nice to haul those bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a small ball mount that will fit inside of a inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube. We'll have a nice large safety chain loop that'll fit different safety chains of many different sizes. You can see there we've got both on there so it'll fit a lot bigger one. You just wanna be sure that when you're towing a trailer, that you got those safety chain loops hooked up. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Toyota Camry- Video

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2022 Toyota Camry. So with this being a Class 1 hitch it's gonna be pretty limited in terms of weight capacity but if you're looking to carry something like a bike rack or maybe a small cargo carrier or even tow a very small trailer it can certainly get the job done and it really expands the function of your Camry. I think most commonly it's probably gonna be something like a bike rack, and our neighbor today is gonna be using this for a bike rack. With a 200 pound max tongue weight rating it's going to be more than enough for most bike racks loaded up with some pretty standard bikes, maybe not the best option for E-bikes but with the Camry your options are gonna be very limited. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Toyota Prius- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2015 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see the majority of the hitch below the fascia, but really this car is fairly low so unless you're directly behind it you're really not gonna see much except for the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops. Now this one being an 1-1/4 means that you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts because it is a Class 1. That's kind of the nature of it. I have one on my own vehicle and it hasn't stopped me from putting cargo carriers or bike racks so don't let that deter you as there's not really a whole lot of other options for this vehicle. Now all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Toyota Prius. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Prius and it is a hidden cross tube. This one bolts up behind the bumper beam so you got a nice clean look and the only thing that's gonna be visible from outside of the vehicle is gonna be the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and also the plate style safety chain loops. And that's something that's interesting about this hitch. This car generally has 1-1/4 of a Class 1 hitch so the availability for a 2 inch is really nice. Now you're not really gonna get a ton of different capacities as far as trying to tow more or haul more, but having a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening opens up the window to a bunch of different bike racks and cargo carriers that you might previously be limited with an 1-1/4. more

This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Camry. Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Toyota Corolla- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Toyota Corolla. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you can see pretty much the whole portion of the hitch except for the mounting part, but honestly it sits pretty far recessed back with the receiver tube opening protruding. So you get a nice clean look overall and with this rear kind of fascia design here, it does hide it pretty well. Now looking closer at the hitch, this is gonna be an inch and 1/4 because it's a Class I, so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to cargo carriers or bike racks or even ball mounts. But I personally have one of these on my vehicle and it's nice to have that there. That way, if I need to get my bike rack on, I still can. more

Now adding the hitch to any vehicle really opens up options of what you can do with your vehicle. And sometimes there are some drawbacks and one of the questions a lotta times people have are, are my hands free lift gate, is it still gonna work with that hitch in place And the answer is yes. Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. Before we get into that, though, let's just take a couple of minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. Putting a hitch on a Tacoma makes sense, you know, you got a pickup truck, you can do truck things, you know, pulling trailers around and everything like that. Use it for accessories, too, if you happen to want to carry some bikes around or carry some extra stuff, some extra equipment, you can always get a cargo carrier, so really open up your opportunities on what you're gonna be able to do with your Toyota. With that said, just to compare this hitch to the etrailer one that's available, honestly, they're pretty much identical in terms of what they're gonna be capable with and things like that. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Toyota RAV4- Video

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite class two trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Toyota Rav4. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is mostly hidden except for you have a plate here, your engine a quarter receiver opening, as well as your safety chain loops. But the cross member is hidden behind the rear fascia so you get a nice clean look. Now being that this is a class two that does mean that this is gonna be an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening and you are gonna be a little bit limited compared to a two inch receiver tube opening. But, for bike racks and cargo carriers, and even a small ball mount for a trailer, this is gonna be a great option and all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a half inch pin and clip. more
